Truly legendary live shows.  Get up close to the stage if at all possible.  Last time I saw them I bought tickets nobody else wanted in the stands directly beside the stage, rather than in front. Except for the sound, (details details) it was one of the best concert experiences I've ever had.

Downie is known for extending songs with improvisational and semi-improvisational rants or ficticious stories in the middle. An example here, where he breaks up 'New Orleans is Sinking' with a story about a cookie factory and bits of something that evolved into a future song called 'Ahead by a Century'
