I watched as fear took the old men's gaze

Hopes of the young in troubled graves

I see no day, I heard him say

Queen at hammersmith 75.  i really cant wait to see this, the clip at the roger bbc interview was fantastic.  But i got to thinking - now the BBC are heavily involved in producing this concert (thats right isnt it??).  Now I know in the end it would be "put together" by  bri and rog and the rest but if not for the BBC i wonder if we would have got this gig.  Also the ANATO dvd docu-surround sound was heavily produced by Eagle Eye as part of their classic album series. Again, im sure, it was "put together" by  bri and rog and the rest but if not for Eagle Eye we would not have had bri, rog, and baker chit chatting about it.I think Its also interesting that the sole Queen Productions have just released another greatest hits wrapped up in a different package.Ahhh maybe thats to negative.  I cant wait for that friday...

Give me a BBC digital broadcast quality over a Queen DVD any day (namely Hits 1 &2 and Montreal).

I assume it's the full one hour concert and not the 30 minute edited version that BBC2 have shown before?

Oh.

I wouldn't put it past the BBC to just show the 30mins one then...

Would have been a nice touch to show it on Xmas eve instead (there's nothing ever decent worth watchin at xmas on TV anyway!), but I guess that would be too late to promote 'Absolute Greatest Hits', which is the main reason why they're showing it....But who's complaining!

Where does this quote come from ?

And no, I think it means that they found the parts between songs, which were edited out from all the re-broadcasts

The concert is only 30 mins long- i know. When I saw that i thought 'thats a short concert' but ive realised that its the cut version. But still, better than nothing :D

Apparently this is also a documentary? I'd imagine they're saving the full gig for DVD.

"fantastic new sound mix produced by Queen engineers Justin Shirley-Smith, Kris Fredriksson, and Joshua J Macrae"

Oh dear. What's with these people?! Why can't they employ professionals to mix this stuff?!?!?!
