I'm referencing the version from Genova 1-18-95..
The intro is Em, with just two notes (x7xx8x)
The first verse is a progression of Em and D, but just three note chords (xx998x and xx777x). After a few cycles it builds to the fuller chords (Em/B 779987) and D/F# (x9777x).
The pre-chorus cycles between Dm/A (557765) and C (x3555x), ending on a B (x2444x).
..followed by another verse and pre-chorus.
The chorus is C G B7 Em (with an Em7 on the last two beats of the latter). The bridge ends with a B7 into another verse, pre-chorus, and chorus, ending on a B7.
The ending is power chords - E D C B A G F# D# E - although the last two are voiced as inversions (x x 8 8 11 x) and (x x 9 9 12 x)
