Queen + Paul Rodgers 09.03.2006 MCI Center, Washington DC, USA SONY ECM-717>OKM-Batterybox>SONY MZ-NH 700(HI-MD/PCM-Linear)> Wavelab>CD>EAC>CD>Flac level 8 (no EQ or NR) complete, lossless show standard 2006 setlist recorded just 3 meters on the right side of the b-stage. complete pa breakdown during FBG. the band played on because the monitors were still working. after attending more than 20 QPR shows in 05,06 and 08 i can say that they were at their musical peak on this us tour when brian and paul were still friends. lame, seated audience like most of the usa gigs. it is this recording:

From what I remember about that gig...it was a full house, & the crowd WAS awful. But after they did "The Show Must Go On," & the band went out for a break & they started playing the WWRY 'stomp stomp clap' tape. EVERYONE got into that, & it was deafening...it ended on a high note. I was on my feet & singing along the whole time...it was a great night for me personally.

Thanks for this! Was on my feet for the whole show, also at the corner at the end of the B stage, thanks to my Italian friend . . . and yes, rsusa, the stomp stomp clap was a brilliant moment.

I had good seats too, the catwalk was like 4 rows up & 3 or 4 seats to the right. I think I can hear myself on this.
