Straight in at number 32!

Serves them right for doing digital downloads only and not releasing on a proper CD.

Who? :)

Seriously, I know it's an age thing, but Queen are hardly a popular band in the UK, especially with the generation that don't understand why anyone would want their music as something physical in their hands!

Had the song been released on CD, I would have bought it.  As it is, I don't like paying for something that's effectively intangible. (I did pay for "Runaway" & "Unblinking Eye", and I wasn't happy about not having a physical item)

Not one Queen fan in my local city that I know (and there about 20 of us), like downloads of official stuff - we like CDs or records!
Basically, what I'm saying is that by NOT releasing a CD, they've alienated a large percentage of their market and stunted sales figures.
Thankfully, Roger has recognised that and I'll finally be able to have "The Unblinking Eye" in my sweaty hands as a proper CD!!!! :)

I know what you mean, I prefer a physical product as well. That is why I spend so much money collecting Queen stuff I could probably get on MP3 for nothing. I want the tracks and the product that goes with them, even if that means spending £50-£100 on some rare promo.

I think it's nice you know Queen fans locally, personally I know of no serious collectors near me.

I think the main reason why the track did not chart higher is because it's pure rubbish. Even hardcore stepfords (myself included :) did not buy it. QP hit the spot where the rip off finally did not work. Try Crazy Frog next time - or the smurfs.

Btw - where is the single box no 3? Wasn't it supposed to be out by now?

I do not want any google ads here.

Someone said (GT?) they´ve moved it to an early 2010 release due to the AG compilation

Also the "real" boxset was reported for a 2009 release :(

I never bought the singles box sets, I already had all the material. I could make a case for getting the 2nd, for Back Chat and A Human Body of CD I suspose.

What we really all want is some rarites, demos without 'Property Of Queen Productions' and people coughing all over them.

I suspose I, and the rest of us, will have to be paitent. But that was never my strong point.

I agree with Brian's Wig, I too prefer to have a physical cd or record in my hands.  Maybe it's just my age in not moving with the times.

But I do get a little confused when it comes to all the digital downloads & what counts as an official single chart release????

Itunes, 7digital, play.com downloads & HMV downloads, do they all count towards the official chart?

Now I have noticed a trend, especially this time of year, when a lot of the Classic Christmas songs re enter the charts, on downloads alone.   what I need to ask is,  what counts as an official single release  (Roger's new single, yes)  (Q+PR Runaway. did that count?)   & what about any of the individual tracks that are on albums? if everybody  just download say one track from the album, would that enter the single charts?

Like I have said, maybe it's just my age, but I have always personally  thought that downloads should not count towards the official chart anyway.

Ah yes. The Singles Boxset.
The sooner they get THAT out of their system the better.
Far as I'm concerned, the singles boxset has just been holding up the release schedules for something interesting that I WILL buy!
I think 20 years is long enough to wait for the remaining BBC sessions for example.
Christ, Freddie was still with us when "Queen At The Beeb" came out, and none of us were of the wiser as to what was about to happen :(
