Queen Philadelphia, PA, USA Wachovia Spectrum November 23, 1977 This is barely an upgrade, if at all, but the generational waters can be cleaned with this confirmed gen copy. The playback speed changed after some tape flips, so it was fixed wherever necessary. This is the last known performance of Ogre Battle from Queen II. Master Cassette > 3rd Gen Cassette > WAV > CDR (1) > WAV (GoldWave pitch/speed correction) > FLAC level 8 Disc 1: 01. We Will Rock You (slow) 02. We Will Rock You (fast) 03. Brighton Rock 04. Somebody To Love 05. It's Late 06. Death On Two Legs 07. Killer Queen 08. Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy 09. I'm In Love With My Car 10. Get Down Make Love 11. The Millionaire Waltz 12. You're My Best Friend 13. Ogre Battle [cut] 14. Spread Your Wings 15. Liar 16. Love Of My Life Disc 2: 01. '39 02. My Melancholy Blues 03. White Man 04. Freddie solo 05. Brian solo [cut] 06. The Prophet's Song 07. Keep Yourself Alive 08. Stone Cold Crazy 09. Bohemian Rhapsody 10. Now I'm Here 11. Tie Your Mother Down 12. We Will Rock You 13. We Are The Champions 14. First, happy new year to you and everybody on QZ Secondly, thanks for the share :) By the way both your rar files and each song tracks are named as 2nd gen, whereas in the txt files you wrote 3rd gen as you named the subject of the topic. So where did you make the misprint ;)

Wow... that's some major oversight there. Thanks for pointing it out, Daffy ! It's a third gen cassette. THIRD. 3. Three. ...just to clarify. :-) I've updated the links with renamed files.

Thanks for this Bob. I've already got a confirmed 3rd gen copy but I'm guessing you've done some work on this recording as the tracklisting is slightly different from mine?

Indeed. They could be at different playback speeds, and the tracks are divided differently. Who knows who worked on what. All I can say about mine has been indicated in the lineage. Hope this helps !

I listened carefully to this recording and now more than ever I say the following: we NEED a great recording of a US NOTW show! Boy, what were they GREAT around that time. They rocked hard but they also sounded perfect during the slow, gentle songs. Listen to My melancholy blues. Sooooooooooo beautiful. You can't believe how much I'd like to hear more from those years, from the seventies that is:-) Thanks, Bob! on my way up
