I just received a few copys of the CD-single of TUE.
It is said to be 'limited'.
What does this mean; 'limited'? 500 copys? 1000? 10.000?
Even if there were 100.000 copys made and there wouldn't be a second pressing, it is still a limited edition, isn't it?
So what's the word 'limited' worth if you don't know how much copys there are?

it´s been said at the QOL forum that around 1000 / 1200 copies have been pressed.

What alternate mix?
It has the song, the instrumental and the video on it. Nothing you'd call an "alternate mix".
Hope you're not disappointed...

An instrumental version IS an alternate mix, is it not?

Technically yes, but in practice is rarely officially called an 'alternate mix'. Could be Instrumental, Karaoke, etc.

All singles are limited, plenty of albums are too. Obviously there's more copies of this than there is demand - I don't believe there's only 1000 copies pressed, let alone the 500 that someone was claiming to try and encourage sales!
In regards to collectability, surely something is only worth anything based on the "Limited edition" tag if they deliberately pressed less copies than were expected and indeed did sell.

Guess I'll just have to be more clear next time...
