I have, over the past year, proved to myself just how careful you need to be when buying second-hand records over the internet.
I've been after Queen: Live In Concert, for around a year, now. The first copy that I got, cost me $40 and sure the record arrived at my place, and the cover at least was ex, but when I took the record out to check it over, I found that it looked as though someone had taken to it with sandpaper. It was scratched to buggery.
The second one that I got, for a further $30 was classed as ex, and sure, it actually was. But the ex record, inside the Queen live cover was "The Game."
So, it's third time lucky, because I just got another copy of it, for a further $50, and not only is the record in EX condition, but it's actually the right one.
And, new people, take my advice, If you purchase on-line, then make sure you get a good look at what your bidding on.
Shooting stars never stop, even when they reach the top.
