Sadly I am thinking Hammy 75 will be released( if it ll be) at the end of the year.

Christmans concert will not come out in summer time.

Any idea for a Concert to be released?

Hope something for the 70's will come out!

Greg, any news or suggestion?

Hope QP have noticed that Christmas 2010 will be the 35th anniversary of Concert and they will release Christmas '75 DVD without delay to commemorate this date.

Sorry, Xmas 2010 is scheduled for a re-re-release of Queen in Montreal, this time with added bonus footage of the We Will Rock You musical. "Every Queen fan's dream" claimed Brian May. Meanwhile, plans are under way for Absolute Greatest Volume 2, and an exciting new project Queen + Jedward + The Muppets is at an advace stage of planning (although the Muppets and Jedward are doing panto, so Brian and Roger may have to wait until after Xmas to record some "great new organic music" (Brian's Soapbox).

"Any idea for a Concert to be released?"

I grew up with Queen and the exciting thing about them was, that you never knew what came next. And this is somehow something I still expect from them - or I wish they would do.

So simply I'd love the next DVD release to be something I never expected or never knew that it exists....

....wishful thinking I know...but why not?

By god, I hope they release Rio 85. Nothing better than Fat Freddy forgetting the words to Hard Life and the great powerful drum sounds of Roger's kit during the The Works tour. If that's not an option let it be Budapest, who can get bored with another version of Freddy shouting his way through Champions, Tie Your Mother Down or Crazy Little Thing. As long as they don't release a boring concert with crap no-one cares about like White Queen, Son And Daughter and Bring Back That Leroy Brown and all those fairy gayoutfits!

No one wants to watch old Queen concerts, especially from the 70s.  How bout a Q+PR DVD from a U.S. show... Live In Cleveland?

That way, we'd pretty much have the planet covered, of course those South Americans will bitch and moan.

Actually, we have:

QPR in England
QPR in Japan
and QPR in Russia (somewhat)

Yes, that's right, THREE OFFICIAL RELEASES from one tour.  I figured what the hell.  Let's overdose together.

Music is a business. And no clever business man will put his crown jewels on offer
in a time of economy crisis, the music sales being down, EMI near to collapsing....they even sell the "holy" Abbey Road Studios now....

Queen-Productions do not need the money at the moment, so they simply wait for better times to make more money then.

So you can complain...you can critisize and attack this poor man who handles their archive.
But it's a business and the strategy of the managers is to make the most money out of the archive as long as possible. And when the time feels right for them.

I agree, Freddie was at his best when he was a fat fucking cunt.  Get that porker back on stage for another hoarse rendition of I Want To Break Free.

When was Freddie "fat?" The only thing that comes to mind was the late 80s, when the AZT made his face swollen.

Apart from the obvious ones (Hyde Park 1976, Earls Court 1977, Houston 1977), I'd love to see the Kampuchea 1979 show released.  Also, there's some nice footage been circulating for a while now (the stuff on the 8mm collection done by snow producciones) of a show in St. Paul, USA on 14/09/1980 - I think there may be around 15 mins, but if more could be found (or is already there for the taking), that would be a nice release as an extra).  Other nice extras for a possible release would be the tracks (and press conference, greetings from Queen) filmed at the Budokan in 1975. Munich 1979, Madrid 1979 and the Rotterdam soundchecks from 1979 would be great, as would Paris 1979, and I'm sure there is more footage from Vienna in 1982 that could be released (the Live At The Bowl bonus was a nice teaser).  I don't know if they got fimed or not, but I'd love to see footage to accompany the versions of Imagine from Wembley 1980 and Life Is Real from (somewhere in the USA, the venue escapes me lol) in '82.  Also, the Innuendo launch footage would be a welcome DVD bonus, IMO (and it might not be to everyone's taste, but I'd be interested in convention highlights - you know, handycam footage taken by fans....)  A full release of the 1982 Tokyo show would be great, as it also includes "Calling All Girls", which I don't think I've ever seen footage from.  Sydney '85 and Sun City excites me also as a possibility (I know I'm running away with myself, now!).

Promo-wise, I think that the Top Of The Pops version(s) of Seven Seas of Rhye; the Killer Queen promo (not the TOTP one); I'm In Love With My Car (possibly a Danish car ad); One Year Of Love; Days Of Our Lives (Disney version) and A Winter's Tale should finally get some exposure.

And what about the other solo videos - a Roger/ Cross and Brian DVD would be awesome (heck, they could even put the VH-1 acoustic set on there, while they're at it!).

Probably said time and time again, I know - but this is stuff that should be seeing the light of day  (even if not in DVD or HD quality, I don't care).

Oh, and a couple of final things - did Maradona on stage with Queen get filmed in Argentina in '81? And Tony Hadley performing with Freddie on CLTCL in Australia? Someone must have captured those moments somehow?
