After the remaster of “Invite You To A Night At The Warehouse”, this time a remaster of “Dynasty” recorded live at The Hanns Martin Schleyer Halle, Stuttgart, Germany 27 September 1984.

Again download from QualityBootz, where recently the original master tapes were shared. These tapes (or a copy of them) were used many years ago for the 3LP set  “Dynasty”.

Of course these master recording sounds much better, although unfortunately clicks and noises from the microphone disturbs a lot in this recording. For personal use I have tried to remove these clicks as much as possible and also fixed some dropdowns (for example in "We Will Rock You") and finally I have added some high and low frequencies.

Also in this case WARDOUR has made their version from the masters tapes...and again I cannot compare it with this one…

On the original 3LP set is missing “Is This The World We Created?” and “Love Of My Life”, probably because they are incomplete.  In the share on QualityBootz these tracks were completed with another source.

Note from the taper:
“ I patched the missing parts from an alternate recording of the show (1st gen) using Soundforge 9.0d for the crossfades.   (Don't ask me for the alternate source - I only got these two songs from it.)”

More information about the linage and the original share on “QualityBootz” can be found in the text file.
Also included is “fixed” artwork, wherefore I used the original “Dynasty” covers.

Finally: I my opinion one of the best concerts of The Works Tour, at least one of the best sounding ones. Freddie voice is in a good shape and the crowd is very enthusiastic!

This time no separate files…!!!

Cool, this looks great.  Keep 'em coming!

Although I might suggest you use a different title (if at all), as "Dynasty Remaster" suggests that you've worked on the LP, not the master tape.

Perhaps you could amend the lineage with what you did with it...

Aiwa CM30 > Aiwa HS-F1 > Compact Cassettes (2 x TDK SA C90) > Aiwa HS-F1 > Zoom H2 > SD-Card Reader > harddisc > Soundforge 9.0d (track splitting, fades) > TLH (flac level 8, sb aligned) > your software and work

...just to clarify exactly which version this is and what has been done to it.

The linage can be found in the included text file, but here you are...this is my contribution

Flac (as downloaded from "Qualitybootz") > Nero Wave Editor (for editing and removing clicks) > Nero Burner (with EQ for the High and Low adjustments) > Silvers > Audio grabber to WAV > Flac Frontend level 8 to FLAC

I didn't change the title since this source was used for the "Dynasty" 3LP set, and the covers of "Dynasty" were also included in the QualityBootz share...but  feel free to change the title...

Any suggestion...???

How about "Queen: Wardour don't know how to master an audio recording but Nordico sure does!"...? ;-)

Nordico, I have tried several times to download the first part and when I try to unpack the files I get this error message :

You must right click the first file and open it with Winrar archiver Alexander Roshal program.

Edit:  Sorry it works only for the first 3 songs.

I think that megaupload again has F ed up everything. I split the complete share in 9 rar files of 95mb,
megaupload has given back a message that everything was uploaded...but I have checked it now and it seems NOT!!

I will delete these rar-files and as done in previous share will load up everything as seperate files.

My deepest excuses!! but be I promise it will be there a.s.a.p!!

May I remind you that a REMASTER is more then adding "some high and low frequencies to give the recording a deeper sound" ?
I also want to remind you the year is 2010, not 1970. Now we have more tools to process the sound, not only a bass knob and a treble knob on the stereo.

Copenhagen 77 has an excess of highs and you add more to compensate. Brilliant!
You really don't know what are you doing Nordico. But it's not a tragedy. A lot of people here don't know what are they listening, so you're in a good company.

Excellent - so we can expect to have your remastered version of these concerts by next Friday can we? At a certain point you either have to put up or shut up - as Thumper said "If you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all". Especially if you can't be bothered to put the work in yourself to show us how it should be done...

I think I' ve never replied like this before. But the first thing that crossed my mind when reading this post was:

Idiot.

That's what you are, aristide1. And a big one, for that matter.

I hate people with a total lack of respect for other people (or living creatures for that matter). Show some respect, people. Is this the world we created?

I guess you missed this part:

Read the entire post before cutting people to shreds.  And learn to speak English.  It's "than" when you're comparing something, not "then".

Still looking forward to your first useful contribution to the forum...

But it's so much more fun condemning people for trying to help out than to help out yourself.

He's never happy.  When a new tape comes out, he'll probably condemn the taper for being in the third row in front of the stage when he could have been in row 2.

I suggest Prozac.
