This looks like an excellent and well researched list, thank you. I find the tracks that have been ripped from these games very interesting to listen to (Those I have heard anyway). Not as good as the full 24 tracks of course, but still very iluminating to hear the different instruments separately

The reason for the inclusion of other artists in GH:VH is that they supposedly influenced Van Halen.
