i thought they were ok.good solid set,and i enjoyed knocking on heavens door..
gnr can be a very good rock band......but but.
when they are pissed or druged up,or when rose throws one his major strops, they can be shite.
still dont know what or who he was shouting at the concert when he shouted...shove it.
maybe protesters about something.i dont know..
but i liked the set.

forgot bo rap later on..not a good combo him and elton.
bit like lemmy and neil sadaka..
bad move i think.
maybe the band trying to get both sides of the gay or not gay argument together as one.
for me it didnt work.

Sure.  It was GnR at their absolute peak (popularity wise anyway), Axl had always been very complimentary about how Queen influenced his music and it seemed natural that they be there.  When him and Elton sang together it was a nice moment (especially after the song One in a Million).

He truly was worthless.  The most you can say is that he was rasping, toneless, aimless, uninspired.  I won't even go into the more negative aspects.

I did.

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Seal's one of those people for me that could sing the phone book and I'd still be riveted. He can't possibly make anything complete crap.

I thought Paul Young was far worse than him...... But Liza surpassed all of them in the shite stakes, imho.

Axl can sing in unique ways, but sometimes he does a horrible vocal. When he said "buddy" at the concert, it sounded like "muzzy"... so, I didn't like his vocals at the concert.

Well the problem for Axl is the one thing Freddie was quite possibly the best ever at was his middle voice, and thats the one thing Axl really hasn't got a great deal of IMO. Decent enough with the low notes, and obviously can nail the high notes but the middle range which Freddie did sing in is something I think he has always struggled with bar maybe the very early days.

If there was one song that I'd imaigne Axl would nail, its surely a song like Gimme the Prize, with its raw power even into the higher notes I'd reckon he'd do a decent job of it, but songs like WWRY seem to be the types he struggles more with.

Finally it should be noted they were in the middle of a monster world tour so Axl's vocals probably weren't as strong as they could be....and yes Axl was a huge queen fan, I'm not sure there are many others who have covered a part of sail away sweet sister afterall like he did in 92.
