It may come as a shock, but:

1. Humans make mistakes.
2. Rock stars are humans.

Hence:

3. Rock stars make mistakes.

Elton John said Fred had written 'The Show Must Go On', Sinatra said his favourite Lennon & McCartney song was 'Something', Roger Waters said Freddie was English, Freddie mixed up the title of an Aretha Franklin song, etc.

Not to mention that many rock stars (Brian, Roger, John and Freddie included) have made mistakes about their own bands. So: do you expect Morgan to be infallible about Queen trivia?

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Morgan Fisher isn't a rock star. I'm more popular than he is. :-P

I think it's okay when he writes this in his own biography. It's about him and his musical path.

If he would write, he worked with "Smile singer" Tim Staffel no one - except some die-hard Queen fans - would know who "Smile" was. And as it was the band, that became Queen (and Freddie also sang Smile songs...) it's fine when he writes it this way.
Cause now everybody can follow the path of his musical biography and the styles and directions he followed.
