I'll start with the ugliest photo.

A drunken night.

Andreas, did you ever download Jake's catalogue of music he made years ago?

I swear, honest to God, that (aside from being potentially even worse than TM music!) there isn't any viruses in this, before you get any funny ideas.

LOL

something of you dont seem to understand is at this forum, is that this -  you hate TM music because you had to hear it .... how on earth would you think i would felt at the time having to PLAY it??

i am a decent man and sense to decency meant that as a member of the team i had to grin and say that i enjoyed the music and recommend the band to friends and family at the time ...   it felt to be pretty good when i was finally able to stop, now i just do it to a laugh.

I can relate. There was a period of time where my ex-band was going through a "metal" phase which totally clashed against the older, tried-tested-and-true sound people were used to hearing from the band. I went along with it, but there was one song I really did not like (called "Armageddon Day"), partly because I could never figure out *good* drum fills for certain parts of the song, but I also thought it was boring, especially playing it over and over.

Thankfully the guys realized in time that it just wasn't our thing, and for good reason too. I think we'd alienated the core fan base a lot, and I believe it showed with the diminished audience attendance at our shows, which is not a good thing.

truth all!   it just wasnt a good band for me in the either case, i never enjoyed the direction of what max and amir is writing.  i would of been happier to play in more rock oriented but theu had to have gone to all synth garbage .... sometimes even relying on demo functions of their synths and keyboards.

"would of been happier to play in more rock oriented but theu had to have gone to all synth garbage ...."

Should have had a side project then, if things were in a more perfect world. One for the synth crap, and one for the rock stuff.
You know, that one song they did with what'shisfuckface, Tills Jag Faller or whatever it was called, it COULD have been a good song, had they dropped most of that repetitive piano hook, got better singers, and took more time to make a clean performance mix. All I hear is overcompressed garbage, seriously
(Hate to ask you, but you wouldn't happen to have a lossless - FLAC/WAVE - copy of that song, would you?)

"sometimes even relying on demo functions of their synths and keyboards."

Are you fucking kidding me?! Neverminding the fact alone you cannot copyright those samples since they likely belong to the keyboard manufacturer or whatever, THAT is just going CHEAP.

Seriously, I know they (or just one of them??) are capable of playing the keyboard well if they wanted to, but relying on demo functions does not encourage anyone to PLAY music. That's like relying on a electronic drum kit demo piece rather than playing and building upon your skill!

=============

Now, I want to ask you since I've never gotten a clear view of this, assuming you might know the answers or not: Which of the TM member participated in the Nordman collaboration, who played what, and were they even CREDITED as 'Treasure Moment' on the official release, or as individual session members??

And the Final Countdown thing isn't just a comparison. It's plagiarism. "FACT", as they say, LOL.
