From the Queen Vault:

Anita Dobson Version

Let Me In (Your Heart Again) 3:52
Written by Brian May
Appears on: Talking Of Love, Track 6
Brian May wrote, produced, played guitar, and provided backing vocals. This track originally started as a Queen track for The Works, but was not used. Apparently an almost completed version exists with Freddie's lead vocal. Rumor has it Anita used Freddie's vocal as a guide for her own.
=====

I only recently learned of the Queen version, though I haven't heard Anita's either, so I have no idea what the original might sound like.

Will we hear Queen's version ever? If there's any kind of Anthology set, I'd expect this sort of track to appear. It could be that the band didn't like it, or that it didn't fit the themes of The Works (technology, loss of humanity and identity, etc....).

I hope to hear it someday.

Greg  claimed some time ago that he found in the archives a complete finished version of this song with Freddie's vocals and that it will be released some day
