I have to write an essay on Ancient Rome - I have to take some classes in humanities and I thought that "Intro To Classical Studies" would be easier, but I was wrong - and I just don't know where to start from.

Problem is: the teacher doesn't have a list of books for us to follow the course. We have to "figure out for ourselves" what "suits us better".

Any ideas, please? I haven't even chosen a topic yet. I sat through some books in the library but I just don't know. The teacher isn't going to like the idea of me writing about Shakespeare's Julius Caesar or the "Rome" TV Series. Lol.

Help me if you caaaan I'm feeeling loooost... : )
