hey guys, i know some of you may think im sick for asking this, but im not, its my version of anti-depressants that actualy work! i am going through some family issues and stuff and have for a while, so i went to go see a shrink about this and im on anti-depressents. but last month, i tryed to overdose but didnt take enough to do any harm becauase i thought about Brian (my roll model) and how he was in the same state as me in the late 80's, and everythin has just gone fucking crazy resently so i wanted to ask dose anyone know any good interviews that Brian gave about when he was depressed and how he got out of it cus i could realy use some help right now

cheers

I can relate.  I tried to overdose on sleeping pills.  It didn't work, but there was a few hours that I was awake that I can't seem to remember anymore (it's like I was sleepwalking).

Also, I don't like cussing.  So if you could refrain from using the F word and such, I'd appreciate it.

Well, he had good composition skills, knew how to spell, and did not discuss his situation on any message boards.  It was not until after his low point that it was brought to our attention (hint, hint).

Here's a google search of everything referencing 'depression' or 'depressed' on brianmay.com.  Some of it will be relevant to the kind of stuff you're looking for I think.   You can have faith in yourself Julia.  When you're ready and able to be out of the doldrums, you will be.  You can't keep happiness out of your life forever any more than you can keep sadness out. Stuff happens, and it just comes.
