As this is a tour that had many highs and lows, I would like to see people's opinions about it!

I was devasted as I lived in Perth in Western Australia and they only went to Sydney and Melbourne! Only being 15 at the time I had no way to get over there. That's my memory of the Works tour! :(

I ri-discovered this tour and I think has got very good moments when the band really enjoy themself.

The music is Great as ever, I particulary like the early songs(Great king rat, Liar) and the version live of "It s hard life" expecially in Stuttgard is beautiful!

The lights on stage were superb!

I mean who did these kind of shows 25 years ago??
Just Queen!..For many reasons it seems as they done it yesterday!

On the other side I consider Rock in Rio been very poor gig!

I think that Works Tour was great! Why?

1) Works Tour had the greatest setlist in Queen's history. Early songs, medleys, energetic opener!

2) New musician - Spike Edney, which was so good that he stayed with the band to this day! :)

3) The lighting rig...no words, it's just beautiful!

4) New songs works very well !

The band's playing wasn't the best on this tour, though. Also, the sound of Roger's drumkit was far from great!

I think the works tour wasn't their best tour but it was saved by the amazing rock in rio shows in 1985. Most of the other shows did not have the strongest performances (especially from freddie), and by the time they went to australia, the show was pretty boring and lacked energy. The magic tour as a whole was much better. Thank god there was rock in rio through which was fucking amazing!
