This one doesn't seem to have the gabs between the songs ! Though the cdr's are stickered labelled !! So I haven't checked the sound for distortion or glitches and other sound problems. How's the quality on this one? Same as the original?

Depends on what you mean by "original" version. I can tell you it's the best I've heard from this show yet.

Greg - just grab a track or two from this version and compare it to the old one. I didn't download that copy.

After comparing both versions (this one, and the original). This one is better: The panning is much better, there's less distortion, and it's not as muddy. This version runs about a quarter tone fast, and it's a bit sharp in the top end--but this still is better. I'll remaster this version, and put it up as a torrent. ghostwithasmile - are there a few seconds missing from the beginning and/or end of each track on your CDRs, or is this a ripping error? If it's the former, then do you remember where you got these discs from? This is a major copy error that can hopefully be fixed.

Damn : I threw the cdr's away last week after posting them online, and saving them on my harddrive. I think in the 90's it was a common problem that first and last seconds from cdr burner (for computers) did have this problem. Besides that these cdr's had sticker colloured labels on them... But i will keep my cdr for a couple of weeks after uploading... so I can check something afterwards...

Thanks for the response. So then you don't remember where you got the original CDR from? That would be a start, but a new transfer of the source cassette would be even better.
