This has been debated on sites and Youtube for awhile: This is one part of a Skype Debate I did (with TSS Killer and Jamster1111). I think we got the question answered.

TSS Killer came to the conclusion that the C5 on Bo Rhap was from the audience (not Freddie).

thats fred singin mate, i live in glagow and the apollo ROCKED, it was basic sound (but amazinlgy loud if you could play loud and good)and a lot of good good group performed there well but only QUEEN & ACDC REALLY ROCKED (well ALEX HARVEY ASĀ  WELL) but thats defo freds voice :) debate all you want but listen????? AND at the end of the day please please get a life FREDS been dead for nearly 21yrs but no one will take it away from him,HE WAS AND STILL IS THE BEST, so just chill oot :) peace and respect

It's the audience. Freddie's voice has a lower timbre and it's in front of the audio more. You can hear him hit the Ab4, then go down. The "distant" C5 is the audience (it matches the timbre with the audience).
