Amazing sound , very rough and tough.
The band just great deliver an amazing-strong powerfull performance.

AOBTD is one of the best version!

Agreed.Ā  It's far better than Wembley in just about every respect.

Mannheim has cursed me, because ever since I uploaded that gig onto Youtube, I have people in my HOMETOWN wanting to BUY Mannheim from me!

Tear it up, AOBTD,Rock you and Champions are just brilliant!

Tear it up has got great keyboards, like a trumpets fanfare! AMAZING!!!!!

I also love to listen Fred when he sings Champions..when he stands up for the piano.."and we ll keep on fighting"...WOW!!!!VERY ROUGH!

As u probably saw in the pre-gig Marillion video there are differents cameras....I don t say more...

And this gig has a non-comum duet, with Fish (MarillionĀ“s lead singer at that time).

What really impresses me about Mannheim (apart from the orgasmic sound quality), is Freddie's vocal performances: His voice isn't quite as fresh as it was during the earlier gigs (Stockholm through 3rd Leiden), but he more than makes up for it with two things: RAW chest power (probably one of his most "vocally powerful" gigs), and brilliant note interpretations. There's this one part on "A Kind Of Magic" (the doors of time), and he embellishes lower notes with HIGHER notes, to make up for not singing it like the record (not hitting the B4 on "time").

That's one of the reasons why Mannheim is a favorite gig of mine (Magic Tour, and overall), and why I prefer Magic Freddie over Works Freddie.

HAS SOMEONE SAW THE MARILLION VIDEO"ASSASING" I THINK ITS CALLED THE SONG.

IT WAS SHOOT BEFORE QUEEN COME ON STAGE, I WAS LOOKING FOR IT IN THESE DAYS BUT I THINK THEY REMOVED IT.

IT HAS GOT AT LEAST 3-4 CAMERAS PLUS AN ELICOPTER VIEW !
