Hey folks,

yesterday I read it in the papers that the venue, where Queen played on every visit in Berlin, except in 1986 and 2008 will be demolished. Althought the building is signed as a monument the Deutschlandhalle should be replaced by a greater hall to expand the possebillities of the main fair ground of Berlin.
It was a discussion hold over years and their was no compromise found so far. So because the Deutschlandhalle was out of use for  years it became more expensive with each year that went by to bring this venue up to modern standards and qualities.
So we have to say good bye to another piece of Queen history. I hope to get in before the work in progress will start.

regards
W.

My advice is take photos before it's too late...!
Ah, yes music venues being demolished - let's see, in London so far we have lost in recent years -
The Marquee
Hammersmith Palais
The Astoria
and many, many others
And now even the historic 100 Club is under threat because the owners have gone bankrupt....
