So far, only a few in Hungary have tried to sing the songs of Freddy Mercury. No wonder, for there cannot be a true match for Him. Nevertheless, this group took on this challenge.

They perform the biggest Queen hits with an excellent band providing CD-quality music, and with fantastic visual effects. What is unique about this show is that Freddie songs are performed by ladies as well – in solo, duet, even quartet.

This is going to be a fantastic journey for you to the extraordinary world, and for the memory of, one of the biggest stars in rock music history.

Looks like an entertaining romp, however I smell a WWRY Musical ripoff.

A good meaningful tribute is tough to do. Most come off as lukewarm ripoffs, are done as cliches, or are fairydusted down to the level of elevor music. The only one that has really worked for me is the Las Vegas tribute done with scenes of Freddie and the group in lights above Fremont street, while their music is pounded out loud. It is repectfully and masterfully done...and free. I go to Vegas twice a month (my BF lives there) and while there I always make a point to be there for this tribute I never tire of. Other than that, i will stick with watching my Wembly and (blue ray) Montreal and Live Aid concerts or settle back for another reading of Mercury and Me.
