There was an BM interview in an old magazine of "Guitarist" with a demo cd. Playing him on his guitar. Is anyone having that cd as a complete flac download for us?

I've got a mp3-version of the Guild Guitars Promo CD (including 'Side Burns'). Is this what you are looking for? Unfortunately no FLAC.

I guess that's the one. Is the original magazine and cd still for sale?

If you got the whole CD in MP3, would you mind sending me a copy? I only ever grabbed a couple tracks here and there from that disc years ago! Would be appreciated, please and thanks :-)

I've still got the mag and the original CD lying around somewhere....it's nothing great, Brian only appears on a few short tracks, all comparing the Burns to the original RS. The main point is "Sideburns". The rest of the disc is just random session musicians and writers of the mag trying out other guitars. I can't upload the CD, but can send a copy to someone if they wish to do so? PM if interested! (Would prob be better if someone from the UK, but I don't mind as long as it's helping out).
It ain't about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit: how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

Right - I'm hoping someone will recognise this - It's almost definitely not the cd being discussed here. BUT Brian did a multi-layered guiar Xmas carol (I'm sure it was "God Bless you Merry Gentlemen") on a cd cover of a magazine approx 1996?? I couldn't at the time smuggle the mag & cd from my guitarist friend and it has now been lost in passage of time. I know of no other Queen fan that knows of this BUT I remember it was a great version of the carol (with programmed drums & bass I think) and I enjoyed it's very OTT nature/production. I'm also confident to say that Brian introduced the track saying something like "I'm away in ... (some hot location) this is for all you poeple back in the UK freezing your bits off" (I think it may have been the year he was somewhere where a tornado hit or something). Ok ok this all sounds very sketchy but this is a Sunday morning - however I'm confident this track existed and pretty confident it was Brian I just hope someone knows what I'm on about! Even better someone has a copy!!!

Despite this being released on CD, it WAS a freebie on the front of a magazine, so i don't see the harm in including it on this website as QPL won't have made any money from it in the first place... FLAC level 6 A/B tests by Brian & Sideburns. The other "burns guitar" sounds on the CD are NOT played by Brian and are therefore not included. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TWM6K0IL
