PARADE MAGAZINE - TOP 10 ROCK BANDS OF ALL TIME
Queen come in at No 3 in Parade Magazine's Top 10 Rock Bands of All Time - the result of a reent of Facebook poll.
Parade says:
We asked our Facebook fans to tell us the best rock bands of all time. Here are the 10 groups that received the most votes in our unscientific poll."

TOP 10 ROCK BANDS OF ALL TIME
1 - The Beatles
2 - Led Zeppelin
3 - Queen
Trying to place Queen in one genre is impossible. This English band, formed in 1971, encompassed the sounds of vaudeville and heavy metal, and brought them together in perfect balance with theatrical extravagance and camp. With a unique sound and magnetic stage presence, few could argue Queen doesn't belong on this list.

4 - The Cars
5 - Heart
6 - Green Day
7 - Journey
8 - Santana
9 - Rolling Stones
10 - Motley Crue

Numbers 4 to 8 are nonsense. Where's Deep Purple? Where's the Doors? Where's Guns N' Roses?

1 to 3 are good, though I Usually put queen at about 6 or 7th.... Behind the beatles, stones, zep, the who, hendrix. then we're talking Queen/floyd,,  The doors, Rush,  Sabbath, ECT....... Guns and roses doen't belong in the top 10 or 20 or 30 IMO.   I hate the stones, but We must give them credit for doing what they did.  Becoming the untlimate rock n roll band in many people's eye's.
