I don't usually do this kind of thing, but I just thought I'd announce that some new pictures from the late 1979 shows have been kindly submitted to me by a fellow named Shane. I know many people here saw these shows, so hopefully these pictures will bring back some memories. Have a look at www.queenlive.ca. Some of the venues were small, but none seem smaller than Tottemham Mayfair, where they couldn't even fit Queen's lighting rig in - all they had were a few lights around Roger Taylor's gong, which we now have a visual of.

I've just taken a look at the pics. They're awesome! Thanks! It's great to have pics from that awesome tour. Hope more recordings will appear from that tour.

It must have been great to see Queen at those places. In december 1979 they were playing in such an amazing way. Great pictures Bob!

Brilliant! I was at the Tottenham Mayfair show, and judging by the angles Shane was standing about three feet away from me. That was my best Queen show ever.

Brilliant! I was at the Tottenham Mayfair show, and judging by the angles Shane was standing about three feet away from me. That was my best Queen show ever ! i am Shane and i wasnt at the gig i never got to see the band live, i have had the pics a number of years i got them from a huge Queen fan who saw the band loads of times including twice on the crazy tour. it must have been great to see the band close up like that and Freddie looks like he is having a ball !
