Now that the next 5 albums are being reissued, I'd like to heard people's reflections on the bonus tracks of the first 5 reissues. Best: '39 (Live at Earls Court) - Because it was previously unheard and is a great performance of the song. YTMBA (Live at Hyde Park) - Because the only version we've heard of it was in terrible quality and they were able fix it up and make it sound stellar...Not to mention the performance is special...I was really impressed they actually used their brains and finally got this out there...let's hope more of that comes in the future. Bring Back That Leroy Brown (Acapella) - Great song with a great vocal track that was interesting to hear isolated. Worst: Everything else, especially most BBC performances as they hardly improved the sound quality. Most everything we already had in some form or another, just not officially released. There were not many unheard things on the bonus tracks.
It's late, but it's time to set me free
It's late, yes I know but there's no way it has to be

So late, so let the waters take our guilt in the t

How about Seven Seas of Rhye - Really surprised me to hear the alternate ending on that one.

I agree some versions of the songs from these bonuses are mistake. For example 'Somebody To Love' from The Bowl and 'In The Lap Of The Gods' from Wembley. Those are the regular live albums. 'Teo Torriatte (HD Mix)' is nothin' special for me too. They could put the demo versions of these songs or put some tracks deleted from albums instead of. What about BBC sessions, Hyde Park '76, Earls Court '77, De Lane Lea demos I like it.

I haven't bought them yet, but I'm really looking forward to listening to the a-cappellas and backing tracks. Those are the most interesting for me.

Night Comes Down on bonus disc isn't exactly the same as on main disc ?

The De Lane Lea Demo of The Night Comes Down was the same used on the Queen album, that's why there's no difference on the track

That's stupid, considering the fact that a different version of "The Night Comes Down" *was* recorded, but not issued. Another cheap move by QP. Most bands have an archivist to prevent things like this happening, but not Queen, they have an archivist to make sure things like this happen.

We are just chiming in, and wish we could list what are the best or worst, but we are not purchasing the reissues. Zero reason to do so. The same goes for the next batch, unless Flash is done without the movie voice overs. Sad to say, but true.

So, I bought the remasters (only Queen II, SHA and ANATO). As regards "You’re My Best Friend (Backing Track Mix 2011)", isn't it exactly the same as the karaoke version? If so, then it is definitely the worst bonus track.
