PS
A huge earthquake was generated on March 11, and Japan (in particular, Tohoku district) suffered great damage.
In the evening of the day, friends of here (Bob, Olivier...) gave emails worrying about me immediately. I thank them very much again.
Japan has many serious problems affected by this earthquake now.
Japan needs more support of the world.
We Japanese do our best so that Japan revives as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Masahiko

thank you very much for this share!

the wardour version of this concert seem superior than the one shared here!

I admire the Japanese culture, I'm shocked to see your people afflicted by this disaster and I remain amazed by your humility to ask for help and react to a new renaissance!

Thanks, Masahiko !  Glad to see you here.

For those who are interested, this is now a FOURTH source of this show.  It sounds better than the Uxbridge source, but not quite as good as Wardour.

Hello Masahiko, I'm glad that you're allright. Immediately after the disaster the Internet was flooded (sorry, I can't use a better term) with shocking videos, they looked very, very scary.  I hope I will see that things only on video, and never personally :-(

Bob - is this release just for the "completists" or does it have something new ?

Thank you very much!

This is certainly my favourite show from freddie for the 1984-1986 era and one of his very best imo. He combines the range with the power and is very creative.

Like Bob said, we now have 4 sources for this show: 3 great sources and one very bad. I just wish a great complete source from the first night would come out:-)

Concerning the earthquake: I was really shocked when I saw the footage of the disaster. Strangely enough, the first thing I thought was: I hope there aren't any nuclear powerplants in the area... We all know what happened afterwards... (and what is still happening).

This disaster is so huge but I feel there's not enough support from outside Japan, probably because we all know Japan as a strong economic force. But of course, a disaster of this magnitude is too hard to deal with, even for a financially economically strong  country like Japan.

There is nothing new per se, as the complete show was out on the Uxbridge label already (and virtually complete from Wardour).  But I'll definitely be listening to this one, as it's a great recording in its own right.
