Muse is one of the best bands nowdays, they played four times in Wembley Stadium, plus other stadiums like Stade de France or San Siro. They have great songs like ''Uprising'', ''Knights Of Cydonia'' or ''Exogenesis Symphony'' But now, i found this in the web, Brian May said he loves ''The Resistance'' his last album http://www.nme.com/news/muse/47809 And at some point frontman and lead guitar Matt Bellamy said Queen is the best band in the world http://www.musewiki.org/Queen If someone don't know that band, here is a link to ''Supermassive Black Hole'' in Wembley in 2007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAMs9c1Av6Q&feature=related This is fantastic! I never noticed the respect between them

I have seen them last April, supporting U2 in Argentina. They are my fave band, along with Queen of course. Mind-blowing live act, I have seen them twice (2008 and 2011). In an recent interview in the most important argentinian newspaper, Matt has said " the best band in the world is Queen, definitely". Here's the link: http://www.clarin.com/espectaculos/musica/Definitivamente-mejor-banda-mundo-Queen_0_451754911.html

I still don't see why Muse were compared to Radiohead so much. They sound nothing alike in my opinion and I'm a big fan of both.

Muse definitely had shades of Radiohead in their first two or three albums, but they have evolved into a sound of their own. As far as I'm concerned, Black Holes And Revelations is one of the very best rock records of the modern era. I foresee them hanging around for years to come, but this record may be their Sgt Pepper.

Their best album is Origin Of Symmetry, IMO. Absolution and Black Holes And Revelations are great too.

Best Muse concert so far is Glastonbury 2010. Muse is like the modern-new-Queen. Even the albums follow a simular tend to the Queen albums Showbiz and Origin Of Symmetry; I havnt heard however Absolution = Sheer Heart Attack Black Holes and Revelations = A Night at the Opera The Resistence = A Day at the Races Muse album 5 which is send to be something lower key simular to News Of the World. Even the point of which Muse acheved mass attention is also simular to Queen, see Absolution/Sheer Heart Attack.

My only tiny complaint about Muse is that you can hear Bellamy breathing as he sings. Its more evident in the concerts.

Hearing the singer's breathing is a common feature in modern pop music. Bellamy just overdramatizes it. It's an interesting thing to have mentioned, though, because many vocal instructors I know hate that, and try to steer their students to breathe as silently as possible. The way I see it, it's really a matter of taste vs. modern pop sound requirements. Queen used some breathing as a nice effect once in a while, too; I personally like the way Freddie uses his breathing as a way of adding some tension in Millionnaire Waltz, for example.
