For all I know, people are getting sick of these, but someone asked for the next one, so I sat down last night while the Jays gave up a 3 run lead to the Yankees to lose the game and whipped this one up.

Here are the tracks I used, and the accompanying footage:

Keep Yourself Alive by Yngwie Malmsteen (“London After Dark”1926)
Doin’ Alright by Tim Staffell & Brian May (“Mr. Cinders” & Vaudeville Acts 1926)
Great King Rat by QuBe (“Faust” 1926)
My Fairy King by Valensia (“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” 1935)
Liar by Valensia (“Nosferatu” 1922)
The Night Comes Down (Moonlight Mix) by Queen (“The Vampire And The Ballerina” trailer, 1962 & “Curucu, Beast Of The Amazon” trailer 1956)
Modern Times Rock ‘N’ Roll by Blue Fox (“Modern Times” 1936)
Son And Daughter by My Glorious (“The Fugitive Futurist” 1924)
Jesus (De Lane Lea Demo) by Queen (“The King Of Kings” 1927)
Seven Seas Of Rhye… by Queen (“London After Dark” 1926)

BASEBALL. You do realize the Canucks were playing last night?   Canucks tie it up 6 on 5 with 20 seconds to go in regulation? Heart stopping double overtime? Unbelievable final goal? Advance to the Stanley Cup final for the first time in 17 years? No?  Okay.  Never mind. :)

Yeah, I'm not really into hockey outside Toronto, and even then I'm not that into hockey. Or sports in general.

Except baseball.

Baseball I love!

Valencia's My Fairy King is absolutely brilliant. I think it was on here I first got his covers album back in '05 / '06?

Recently tracked down a version with YTMBA as a bonus track. Brillinat collection.

I love his cover of "Polar Bear." I think the backing is so full and gives a hint at want Queen could have done in terms of the full potential of the song! Don't me wrong, I love Queen's demo too, but Valensia's definitely gives it a run for its money!
