Hello All

After watching the documentary on Queen on BBC I found the information about Paul Prenters influence on Freddie very interesting.  I went through some old boxes of Queen "stuff" I have in my collection and found the item that I link to below.

Thought I'd upload a pic to share with everyone here in case someone found it interesting.

Paul Prenter silver disc award.

Paul Prenter was a dangerous and toxic perosn! From all the info that is available, he was a control freak who would turn on you like a snake, and he did with Freddie. Look what he did by selling his story to the papers in the mid 80's, nothing but narcisstic behaviour at it's worse! The rest of the Queen camp should have fucked him off well and truly before it got out of hand!

The person of Paul Prenter is discussed on many pages of Peter Freestones book about his time as Freddies personal assistant. Actually it doesn't create a picture of a snake with poison. Just the fact that he misuses the trust that was given to him by going to the press goes in that direction.
At least he was one of the main sources of Freddies party and club nights, I think.

regards
W.

Why are the Japanese record company congratulating Paul Prenter on Queen's single?
