Anyone else notice it was too short and even low in the mix? The solo itself is classic Bri, but I thought GaGa would've at least cranked it louder considering it's, you know, Brian May!

It's down to the person mixing/producing it. Just like some people round here don't like what Justin-SS does with Roger's snare drum sound. Whoever did put the "You and I" track together wanted the guitar more...muted(?). We're all so used to hearing Brian's guitar screeching and hammering away in a track that to have it suddenly, somewhat, in the background - it doesn't feel right! lol

Adam.

He did note that it was just a small piece of what he had done and sent along, and said that perhaps it might see the light of day at some point but that these things were beyond his control.  Something like that.  I very much hope there are eventually alternate mixes of 'You and I' because there's a strong musical foundation there and something worth  not being monopolized and made common by  all the intrusive and unexceptional synth work.
