So I just downloaded and was listening to this great audience recording of Queen at Chicago Stadium from December 7th, 1978.

Unfortunately, one track that cuts off (so some of it is lost, etc.) is Spread Your Wings, and Freddie does this great "Don't Stop Me Now" intro to the song on the piano - there's only around 35 sec of it saved on the recording though - a shame.

Does anyone happen to know if Freddie did this type of intro for the song at any of the other 1978 shows?

Yep, it's precisely where the tape hit the 45 minute point and needed to be flipped.

It's the only known US show where Freddie did this, but there are plenty of shows we haven't heard - including the 3 nights at the LA Forum.  We can only wonder if Mike Millard taped them..
