I remember seeing THE Beatles ANTHOLOGY... i was just wondering, do you think John will participate in that sort of stuff, "once for all", or he would not?

Just wanted to see what Queen fans think of that...

and yes, do you think Anthology will come out soon?

Depends on what you mean by "participate", if you mean will he let his demos and stuff be put on it / them, then probably, if you mean will he do interviews commentary and things, then probably not.

At this point I am not expecting to ever hear John speak publicly again, not about anything of substance at any rate.

There's more chance of John doing something publicly than there is chance that a Queen anthology project will ever be completed.

Heh!
I think it's a huge shame that John has decided against taking part in these reissues - fair enough having a rest and enjoying family time etc through the 90's and 00's, but SURELY he would want a part in ensuring a quality legacy for his family - ensuring all he has achieved is represented fairly and proportionately. His fortune might last a couple of generations but Queen will now last forever as ingrained as they are in everyday life. Think about the future, Deacon J!

I can't really see John doing much public stuff.  He seems to go along with the Queen name being used, but thats about it.  And i wonder how much he actually supports it, and how much is that he doesn't want to be the one stopping it.   If he doens't do something for the anniversary, then i guess he really isn't going to do anything.

And Benn, you have a point.
