Queen"St. Bernard Parish Civic Auditorium" New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - April 21 1974 AUD

1. Procession
2. Father To Son
3. Ogre Battle
4. Son & Daughter
5. Great King Rat
6. Liar
7. Keep Yourself Alive
8. Modern Times Rock'n'Roll

Notes: We got this recording a while ago from Dimeadozen. It was shared on Queenzone few days later. It was a nice stereo upgrade of what we had until now but by listening to it, i realized that the pitch was much too slow. All I did was taking the files we got on Dimeadozen and speed correcting them (3/4 of tone) with Audacity. I really enjoy the result now and I hope you do so.

Did you did a pitch-correction? (just change the pitch?)
Or did it automatically also speed up the audiofile?

Indeed, pitch and speed correction can be done separately or together, so it's a fair question.  In the case of old tapes, it should be both, because lower pitch happens when the tape physically plays too slowly.

All went well in little foetus' capable hands, as the file size here is 18mb greater .. which means it was slowed down.

Many thanks for the share !

I changed both speed and tone, as usual. As Bob said, generally, both have to be changed when the tape does not run with a correct speed.
The files are heavier because i made a flac>speed correction>wav>flac transformation by using flac frontend which is probably configured differently from EAC. But the tape was definitely running much too slow  and i made a 3/4 tone correction. Glad you like it!

Nevertheless, hope one day we will get Freezer's mastertape which is sleeping in his vaults.
