I HATE Harry Potter....in fact, everytime it's on TV or my mrs (a huge Potter fan) has the DVDs playing I remind myself "Don't Try Suicide" as it makes me want to slit my wrists lol

I thought Under Pressure was a great choice for Hermione!
I think Killer Queen would be most fitting for Umbridge.

How about:

Hagrid & his brother - Ogre Battle
Voldermort - Death on Two Legs
Peter Pettigrew (aka Wormtail) - Great King Rat (of course)
Bellatrix - March of the Black Queen (well ... she is vulgar, 'buse & vile)
Anyone Slytherin - Innuendo (opening portion)
Dumbledore's Army - Princes of the Universe
The dark arts Instructor who wrote his own book and was so vain (?) - Millionaire's Waltz
Rita Skeeter (?) - Scandal
George & Fred Weasley - Put Out the Fire!
Crookshanks - Delilah (just kidding!!! - I know it doesn't fit)

Sorry I could not recall all the names and for the spelling of names!   A fun topic, thanks.

Some of these are excellent. Bellatrix, ive always had that song in my head for her.
Lockhart though,, i would give I'm going slightly mad, for very obvious reasons. :P
Ogre battle for Hagrid and Grawp, excellent choice. :)
---

Now Moody, id give the Hitman, you know,, because he's an auror.
Harry, to be honest, I would give 'The Hero' , much better choice for him.
Voldemort, id give him 'Flick Of The Wrist' , because he's like the sheffield brothers in the way of promises. :L

Of course, I'm not a massive fan of the movies, i'd prefer the books any day,, i've read them a million times, miles better.

Thistleboy1980, if you hate HP, why are you answering to this thread? Unh! It really irritates me when people stick their noses in something, only to criticise it. =============================================================================================

It was a joke for cryin' out loud - an easy way of getting "Don't Try Suicide" in there. Thought the "lol" may have been a give away!!!  I could have been sarcastic at this point and said "Uhh!  It really irritates me the people that have had a sense of humour bypass in here" or something like that, but I am above such behaviour :)

Btw, I haven't "stuck my nose in"....'tis a public forum lol

As it happens, HP is growing on me....just haven't thought about linking Queen lyrics to their character traits.

MASSIVE Harry Potter nerd here...and I mean obsessed.  I think that there are some excellent, excellent choices here!  I'd really have to sit down and think whether I'd have different ones or not...Sirius is my <3 and I agree that The Show Must Go On is the best song for him.  I'll think on the others though....I agree with most of the ones already listed!

And um...not to be an ass...but to those of you who hate Harry Potter or think it's childish or have no interest - why are you even bothering in this thread?  Just to spread hate?  It's unnecessary - your energies might be better served in a good way.
