Ok, I know this was covered before - and suggested by me, I think - but...did anyone actually drop Google a line to suggest Sept 5 for a Freddie Google Doodle....?

Neat idea.   I wonder what kind of precedent there might be.  A list of all Google Doodles:

www.google.com/logos/index.html

Doesn't seem to include country code specific ones.  I know for example that there was one for Canada Day on google.ca, but changing the relevant part of the url doesn't change anything. Still interesting to look back.

Today´s doodle (at least here in Arg) is in honour of J.L Borges (An excellent argentinian writter) so i think they could made one for freddie!

In Holland, too, so that was probably international. And I agree, that would be a good idea.
