I just found this item (2 days late):

http://www.themortonreport.com/entertainment/music/this-day-in-music-aug-24th-scaramouche-scaramouche-will-you-do-the-fandango/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=yourls

Covers most basics about the creation of Bo Rap and a bit of Bo Rap trivia such as:

Every hour of the day, Bo Rap is being played at least once somewhere in the world
on the radio.

Nice, but largely inaccurate.

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

^  Well that's a bummer ... thanks for checking it.

This info is from the authors profile:
Neil Cossar is a former musician, radio presenter and a regular
on various BBC stations. He is the founder of the award winning web site
"This Day in Music."  He runs a music PR company whose clients include
Queen, The Beatles, Def Leppard, INXS, UB40 & more.  Music facts
and trivia became an obsession that evolved into his web site.
