I just recently watch the Greatest Video Hits 2 dvd, and got to thinking.  I know Freddie was already very unwell in 1989, but his performances in the videos is still quite energetic.  What if there had been a Miracle TOur, even a short one?

What would it have looked like?  And how would the Miracle songs have translated live?  It always seemed to me that a lot of the tracks on Miracle and Innuendo were very 'studio' and for obvious reasons not a lot of thought had gone into making them playable live.  How would Breakthru and Invisible Man have sounded?

Maybe a set like this:

1  One Vision
2  I Want It All
3  A Kind Of Magic
4  Under Pressure
5  Another One Bites The Dust
6  The Invisible Man
7  Breakthru
8  Who Wants To Live Forever
9  The Miracle
10  Friends Will Be Friends
11  I Want To Break Free
12  Now I'm Here / Brighton Rock Solo
13  Love Of My Life
14  Crazy Little Thing Called Love
15  Radio Ga Ga
16  Scandal

Encore:
17  Was It All Worth It
18  Bohemian Rhapsody
19  Hammer To Fall
20  We Will Rock You
21  We Are The Champions
22  God Save The Queen

Maybe.

But then, what if he would have died on stage during the concert you attended?

Or would they do the Lynyrd Skynyrd Wheelchair thing if he was simply too far gone halfway through the tour?

Or what if they would have had his sister dress up as Freddie and Freddie be behind the stage out of view singing his songs?  She looks a lot like him.

Or what if they had hologram technology and could make virtual Freddie?

Would they still play Miracle songs or would they let Freddie go balls out on the old stuff?

I'm not criticising you, just pointing out that it's been done to death but the threads don't get much input.  If you type in "Miracle Tour" or "Miracle Live" using the QZ search engine, you'll see just how many folk have tried this topic without success.  Some of them at least have an imaginary setlist, which may give you some answers to your question.

ok

I mean I am a new member and I didn't realise it had been touched on before, certainly not in any recent threads which I did check out.

I guess I'll shut up now.

No, no - please don't :)

It's easy to start threads that have been touched on before, I've done it and so have most others - please don't be put off because this particular topic doesn't attract much in the way of input.

And I guess I should have said by now.....welcome to QZ!!!
