Stange how  things that happened 20 years ago still feel like yesterday.

It was close before my 15th birthday. I became an instant Queen fan when "I Want It All" and "The Miracle" hit the charts. I  thought Innuendo was a great album too. Deeper, Darker, more mysterious. I played that cassette so often it was a miracle it didn't break.

During 1991, there had been a lot of rumors. Freddie had not been looking well in the last couple of videos and avoided the press. I hoped that it would be nothing serious. That there would be a Tour in 1992 to accompany Greatest Hits 2. It never happened. I remember how miserable I felt when i heard Freddie had AIDS. And how devastated I was when I heard of his death one day later. How could such a talented person just slip through our fingers?

My musical taste and preferences have changed through the years, but Queen will always be "my" band.

Freddie, thanks for introducing me into the world of music.
