Technology by definition cannot be still.  Where DOES Google go from Google?  It will feel compelled to go somewhere.  This could be convenient and efficient and it could also be a further narrowing of experience in a world in which it is already critically easy to live in an echo chamber where interests and information can be extraordinarily insulated.  There are already so many aspects of modern life that concentrate power and influence and that potential seems built into this proposal as well.  We need to be vigilant.  I think if this comes to be it should be an option.  Turn it on or turn it off.  The internet is supposed to be one of the great levelers.   There will always be value I think in principle and practice to having something that is truly free - free even from yourself - truly fair and essentially the same no matter who or where you are.
