Was listening to the outtakes of somebody to love, the ones presented at one of the Queen conferences. I'm glad they chose to not include the multitracked 'somebody toooo looove' part after the big chorus in the middle. Sounds much better Freddie simply doing it in flasetto as on the record.

However i think think that 'anybody anybody anybody anybody, find me find me find me find meee' part is fantastic! Where would that have been in the song? At the very end? I wish they had left it in, the harmonies sound brilliant.

What do you guys think?

I think it was better they didn't use the "anybody anybody..." variant (presumably as the intro). It's rather awkward and slightly redundant compared to the final version.

I think it sounds good but wouldn't have really fit. Still nice to listen to all of that stuff

How did they achieve the harmonies in Somebody to Love, they sound as big as the harmonies in Bohemian Rhapsody yet sound so different.

Singing different notes make up different chords make for different harmonies. STL harmonies are built up more like a gospel choir which uses different parts than your average Queen harmonies.

And on the subject of the 'anybody, anybody' outtake.. It sounds very empty and unfinished wich makes me believe a main (different) vocal would have been part of this.
Without hearing that i couldn't really say if it would have worked.
