Hello Friends, which had to be for you the bonus tracks on the album Made In Heaven?

2011 Bonus EP :
"Heaven For Everyone (Single Version)" Not Very Good
"It’s A Beautiful Day (B-Side Version)" Not Very Good
"My Life Has Been Saved (1989 B-Side Version)" Good
"I Was Born To Love You (Vocal & Piano Version)" (credited to Freddie Mercury) Very Good!
"Rock In Rio Blues (Live B-Side)" Good
"A Winter’s Tale (Cosy Fireside Mix)" Very Good!

What think that should be the bonus?

My opinion :
Bonus Made In Heaven :
"It's A Beautiful Day (Idea 1980)"
"Let Me Live (Original Version)"
"In My Defence"
"No One But You"
"A Winter’s Tale (Cosy Fireside Mix)"

What would your ideal bonus disc?

I think were pretty necessary. The single versions are needed to truly "complete" the album. We'd all like it if they just put all the takes from Mother Love and Winter's Tale, but that won't happen any time soon, if it ever does.

The only one I didn't like on this CD was the vocal and piano version of IWBTLY. Most of us already have it from the old Freddie collection from the early 2000's.

Either way, I think the one track missing was No-One But You.

Any way the wind blows...

Why on earth would No-one But You be included as a bonus to Made in Heaven??

This is a song Brian May wrote for his "Heroes" solo project, inspired by the death of Princes Diana and (obviously) Freddie. This was at least a full year and a half after Made in Heaven was released (let alone, recorded). It became a Queen song after he played it to Roger and he liked it.

It was not part of the 1993-1995 Made in Heaven sessions so there is no reason why it should be on this bonus disc. While they're at it, why not include the Under Pressure Rah Mix and We Will Rock You with Five?

Do not be stupid, My life has been saved was single in 1989 and still was included as a Bonus

It's an earlier version of a song on the same album. That's a bit different from a song that has no connection to Made In Heaven.

But the album fits in quite well as a bonus, it would be a way to accommodate the song and not let out of the remasters

Any chance to see an upload with the second blue version of that Made in Heaven Art in same quality? Thanks!

"While they're at it, why not include the Under Pressure Rah Mix and We Will Rock You with Five?"

Aside from the fact that those two things are completely cunting *crap* and No One But You was awesome ...

Yeah, it came about later, and wasn't technically anything to do with Made in Heaven. Still, if I were someone buying Queen music today, I'd rather buy a copy of Made in Heaven that had No One But You on it, than have to spend money on either Queen Rocks or GH3.

Made in Heaven! Hmm! I never really liked this album, for various reasons such as the re-recordings of Mercury solo tracks, even though I think the guitar on 'Made in Heaven' the track itself is very good, heavy and pure Queen. I guess it was a case of Brian getting hold of the reins and making sure Queen's last LP with Freddie's vocals would be a worthy bookend. It was only natural the surviving members would pull together and try to make a coherent album out of what remained. Innuendo is technically the end and the final word is 'The Show Must Go On'. I was slow to buy Made in Heaven in 1995, but being the loyal fan I am I did and I only played it once in a blue moon. I also bought the original white vinyl LP a few years ago and now I've bought the Made in Heaven 2011 remaster. The sound is much the same, sounds like early 1990s digital and the synths reek of Korg! May's guitars are in good form though and he comes up with some fresh sounds and I like the Parker Fly on 'Mother Love', but the over all overall feel is more style over substance. Let's see, if you take the Freddie solo tracks away you're left with 9 songs and, 'It's a Beautiful Day (Reprise)'
is only filler. I never liked 'My Life Has Been Saved' as it is a very weak song, with 'Eurovision Song Contest' written all over it. 'Heaven For Everyone' was from the The Cross debut LP 'Shove it' (the best song on that terrible LP too) and not the strongest song either. 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' was released by Brian a few years earlier, so it's an album of already released tracks except for the very last songs Freddie sang on before he passed away. I never liked the long synth droning that fills up the CD either, at least this is not on the vinyl! So 'Mother Love', 'You Don't Fool Me' and the lovely Christmas song, 'A Winter's Tale' are the best things on it. Ok, 'Let Me Live' is good too but there are three people singing it and the lyrics are pretty banal. This album was huge when it came out, the record buying public lapped it up, but as a solid Queen fan it's only a document piece to me really and not an album I enjoy at all. There must have been other demos left that could have been worked on, but life's not like that I guess. All in all it's an album under the Queen banner than can be done without in my mind, but now I own three copies! Life is strange!
