Hi

As you will know, Manipulator by The Cross is credited to Roger, Spike Ednry, and Steve Strange.

Does anyone know any more detail on how the SS collaboration came about? Is he good friends with Roger, or just a casual acquaintance that he happened to work once with? The music sounds very 'Roger like' to me, but does anyone know if anyone had more of a hand in the lyrics or the music?

Cheers

hmm it's possible that Freddie introduced them because he was very good friends with Steve who was at Freddie's birthday party in Munich, 1985.

Yes, Steve Strange is in the Living On My Own video, IIRC.
