Nice except how beneficial is a HD broadcast of something that was only filmed in standard definition?

even if it was - I doubt they would have access to the film --> it was probably digitized from the video tape.

Still -- the quality of the broadcast may be better than most VHS transfers...i would think.

I have the old laserdiscs. It's better than VHS. So even if the broadcast is not true HD it could still be much better than old videotapes.

If anybody have recorded this it would be great if it was made available. I have Magic Years and Champions of the World on VHS. But I never watch them anymore.

Basically blind em and deaf em in the first 10 minutes, and while they are recovering from that put in the less good songs

Sky Arts HD is encrypted and unless you've got an expensive HD capture card in your PC that also accepts a Sky Card, you can't record this stuff.

I know SOMEONE can, because last years Alice Cooper concert was uploaded in HD, but...

Sorry if this is dumb, but is the Queen Phenomenon the same as Champions of the World?

I'd love to have both on DVD!

In the lap of the Gods (Queen phenomenon)
First broadcast in 1995 to coincide with the release of 'Made In Heaven'.
Later broadcast on 13th March 2000 on Channel 5 as part of 'Queen For A Day'.
Running Time 55 mins approx. Produced by Jim Beach and Rudi Dolezal, Directed by Rudi Dolezal and Hannes Rossacher, Written by Simon Witter
This programme is essentially a TV edit of the 'Champions Of The World' video, with some sections edited partially or completely. However, some elements have been moved, some additional footage has been added, and it now has a narrator

Great, thanks for the clarification. I think the Champions documentary is the best I've seen. I enjoyed the recent Days of Our Lives, but still think Champions is better.

Enough with documentaries, let's get some more music!!!
