This is a toughy. Father to son and white queen are two of my favourite Queen songs but side white is let down by someday someday and loser in the end. Side black is just amazing. Freddies songs are just so varied and creative. has to be side black for me.
Go, Go, Go, little queenie!!

I'd have to go with Black, too, just barely. I love the flow of Black, and Freddie's vocals and songs are astounding!

I don't consider any of Queen II's tracks weak, so it's a pretty hard decision. Nevermore, however, is one of my favourite Queen songs, as are Black Queen & Fairy Feller, so I'll have to go with Black. I love White Queen but that isn't enough to balance it out.

I like the totality of everything about Queen II. I think the appreciation of Queen II and the understanding of it may be one of the key things that distinguishes an absolute greatest hits type of Queen fan from a Queen super fan. Do you think I'm accurate in that assessment? Procession, Father to Son, and White Queen build a huge part of the overall dimension and proportion of the record and listening experience. It's the ins and outs and what's around each corner that makes the journey worthwhile and Queen II legendary. Is this Queen's finest moment? It's a trick question. For at that moment - it was (and some would argue still is). And yet so much more material was yet to unfold from this musical powerhouse known as Queen. We are so lucky!!!

Side 2. The whole white/black thing could well be the most pretentious thing that Queen ever did. (Apart from the 3 million pretentious things they did after it :-) ) ;-)

Side B! It's a remarkable album. Sure they did better ones later, and showed more variety within one release later, but Queen II stands as a point in time when Queen was just like WOAH.

Difficult question... I just love both sides, but my fav is the black one. I love the way that the end of a song is the beginning of another
