Cool story bro, even though I knew a lot of this stuff.

These are the days of our lives

nearly fell off my chair when i read this...how did he stay alive so long?
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
With Elvis, you can forget about your average 1,500 to 1,800 calories per day, or even the 5,500 calories per day of your average Antarctic explorer. Before he died, Elvis was eating about 100,000 calories per day! That's more than enough to keep your average multi-tonne Asian elephant alive - or, enough to keep you or me alive for nearly 60 days!

The basic element of Elvis' daily food intake was a 30-cm long bread roll, stuffed with bacon, peanut butter and strawberry jam. Each one had 42,000 calories, and in his final days, he ate two of them per day, together with little midnight snacks of hamburgers and deep-fried white bread.

Elvis was addicted to food, and in the end, it killed him at a tragically young age.

I don't believe a 30cm sandwich could have that many calories. I think he would have to also eat about 5 tubs of Phish Food ice cream, a block of Welsh fudge, a family bucket of KFC and one of those giant Toblerone bars that they sell at the airport duty free. And possibly a wafer thin mint.

...died in the shitter.

Sorry, but I don't agree with Elvis being "The King of Rock N' Roll". He didn't write his own music, could barely play the guitar, and while his voice was distinct it was far from superb. In terms of talent he is closest to Justin Bieber than The Beatles.
