Band:   Queen
Date:   November 4, 1978
Venue:   Civic Center, Lakeland, FL, USA

Hello everybody,

I have in my collection two versions of this show:
S1) A "watermarked" version (I don't remember who shared it, sorry)
S2) A "watermark-free" version (shared by Bob)
The best version is the S1 as regards the video quality (at least, to my eyes), but S2 is quite important mainly because it's watermark-free.
So, I took Bob's version, tried to remove some blocking artifacts that were quite evident and I synchronized the audio stream from version 1.

NOTE: The original video is SILENT, as Bob's site reports ("This silent 8mm film was shot pretty close to the stage, but it's a few generations from the master"). I only added the audio track because I personally didn't like to watch only the video. The audio track can be simply removed with MkvToolNix, but keep in mind that you're watching a silent video footage.

Please enjoy!

I didn't download it yet, did anybody try to sync some audio to this?

I like to collect video recordings and spend hours on trying to restore them (recordings, not hours)

The audio track I put is the same of the other watermarked video, but absolutely not synchronized.

Thanks a bunch, I had never seen this before. I sure would like to see what Chief Mouse could do with this, maybe some speed and/or color correction.

Ok, I have it. Nice work. First clips are probably from We Will Rock You ending, then there are almost 2 minutes of If You Can Beat Them Join Them. I was working on this recording few weeks ago. After this, nothing really matches, altough there might be some It's Late clips. If anybody cares, I tried to sync some audio:

Very nicely done !!

Artists must pass on, but sometimes a mix of passion, good fortune, diligence, expertise, and meticulous labor can capture and restore some of the beauty they left behind.
