Queen
Glasgow, UK
Apollo Theatre
November 8, 1974

This is a pretty bad recording of an early Sheer Heart Attack tour show with bass distortion, yet still a sizeable upgrade of previous versions (which were horrific). Earlier copies cut in part way through Now I'm Here, and had far more tape hiss. One wonders if the master sounds much better than this copy, but it's certainly a few tape generations closer to it.

The recording is now pretty well complete, aside from God Save The Queen being missing.

Thanks to Peter Wiley for sending our pal Gregsynth his tape collection (and of course to the taper). Anything that's an upgrade will be posted.

Enjoy, keep it lossless, and do not bootleg !

Where exactly is this? It's hard to hear, but it sounded fine to me.

Wow... Thanks.

I like to collect video recordings and spend hours on trying to restore them (recordings, not hours)

Ah yes, of course you're right. It's just hard to hear unless you're listening really carefully, as the quality is so bad.
