The Police, UB40, and The Bee Gees above The Who? Sorry, this list is null and void, even if Queen is at No. 2.

Why isn't Pink Floyd on the top 10?

I borrowed Wish You Were Here from a friend, Shine On Me You Crazy Diamond is fantastic! I was suprised not to see them in the top 20 as well, but I guess they didn't influence too many people.

That program was broadcasted on VH1 Europe, by the way :)

I can live with the fact that the Beatles are #1 but if it was someone else than it would be a SCANDAL. :p

*is shocked*
*is stunned*

YAY!

*is further shocked and stunned*

The Beatles. Not Nirvana?

Mandy is mystified. Is VH1 ill, do you think? Are they so sick that they don't know what they are saying or doing? Surely they would not have neglected to feed their unhealthy, necrophiliac obsession with Nirvana?

*is relieved*

Pink Floyd could be in the top ten... right in at no. 10; you just don't know that, do you?

UB40? Besides covering Neil Diamond and Elvis songs, they didn't accomplish much on their own. Ahead of The Who? Yikes....

Bands like The Beatles, Queen, Zep and Floyd are way above Nirvana.

They would make a fair Top 20, but not a top 10.

UB40 are crap IMO. None of their songs are tuneful, they're dreary and booooring. :o (yawn)

I like UB40, but they shouldn't be that high on the list.

UB40??? Bee Gees???? *squeezes his nuts* It's a load of bollocks, but of course the number two spot is nice.
